Jacques arrived at M&S Village in 2010. Even though Jacques has been with them for 2 years, he remains a very shy and reserved little boy. Jacques’ housemother, Sonine Jacquet, constantly encourages other children to go to Jacques and invite him to play with them. It is heartwarming to see the other children reaching out to Jacques.Jacques’ favorite thing to do is play with his ball. Jacques goes to school at M&S Learning Academy and is in kindergarten. He seems to have good connection with his friend, Kelly Rood. Jacques eats everything and especially likes milk. He is a healthy little boy!

When Nory arrived at M&S he was very frail. The doctor placed him in the infirmary so that special care could be provided for him to regain strength. Thanks to the staff and the tenderness of his housemother, Odile Pierre, Nory gradually got stronger and started to smile! Nory has made a lot of progress since his arrival. He is a happy little boy who loves playing with cars and with his friend Franky Barker. Nory has a small appetite but does not refuse milk and yogurt. His balance is still not good and he is not yet strong enough to go to preschool, but he is making progress. The doctors are optimistic because they see Nory getting stronger each day!
