Over $12,000 raised for HaitiThe PEACE Fund is pleased to be able to announce that
the recent 'PEACE for Haiti Relief Effort' initiative has
raised over $12,000. We will shortly be announcing a
new recipient in this respect, but in the meantime it just leaves us to say THANK YOU!
January 2010 saw the communication network for The PEACE Fund expanding with the launch of the new PEACE Fund forum, presence

The PEACE Fund donated $10,000 to enable TAB to run a series of workshops in Cambodia aimed at improving the literacy skills amongst schoolchildren. Sue Slater was one of a group of teachers who volunteered her time to lead a number of workshops.
Founded by 8-year old Emily Grace Reaves
(who stars as "Cindy Lou" in the Hannah Montana Movie), Emily, along with family and friends will, on
the 2nd May, celebrate the foundation's official launch with a star-studded, celebrity event at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood.
When Adrian was participating in a 'Highlander' Convention in Los Angeles. he had the opportunity to meet a number of those participating in the 'Pounds for PEACE' initiative and receive an update on how things were progressing. He offered both his support and congratulations to all of those who have and are participating in the initiative.
When we, at the PEACE Fund, heard that The Relief Fund For Romania (FSC) was looking for a new website to promote their work we were happy to be able to help.
The PEACE team and FSC worked closely together to create a brand new look, the new site being available in both English and Romanian and highlighting just a small proportion of the vast amount of work undertaken by FSC.
