List of Charities Helping Haiti

Seems that Adrian is giving this alot of thought at the moment. I found this list at the Huffington Press. The one that stands out in my mind is Artists for Peace & Justice.

The board of directors includes actors: Ben Stiller, Gerald Butler, Oliver Stone, Diane lane, Nicole Kidman & Russell Crowe & Charlene Theron, Josh Brolin & Diane Lane

There immediate goal now is the re-build schools, hospitals & orphanages for kids.

What do you guys think? I'm a bit worreid about Yele haiti

Interesting list, although not all of them are focused on children. I do see at the bottom of the page is a list of agencies that are best to contribute to for help to reach Haiti immediately. Among them are Yele Haiti which PEACE is supporting and UNICEF which I'm glad to have supported directly and through Project Edan.

We have finalised our due diligence on Haiti charities and used information here and elsewhere to get the list down to one. We will be announcing that charity this weekend. One thing that was very important to us was that there be no controversy surrounding the charity.

The man in charge is raising money to re-build a hospital for 60,000 Haitians.
